Azerbaijan repaired 512 km section of railway line Baku - Boyuk Kesik

April 12, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) continues capital repairs of railroad Baku - Beyuk Kesik.

ADY reports that overhaul of 5 km section Goran-Kurekchay has started.

"Repairing of this section will be completed in four days," ADY said.

On 14 April 2015 ADY and Czech company MORAVIA STEEL signed an additional agreement to the export agreement on implementation of the 2nd phase of the project of reconstruction of Azerbaijani railway lines.

The contract provides for material and technical supply and overhaul of 600 km of Baku – Beyuk Kesik railway. To date, 512 km of railroads have been repaired within the 2nd stage.
