Iran to carry out energy supplies to Azerbaijan from June

April 12, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan will buy electricity from Iran.

The Ministry of Energy reports that the deal was concluded between Azerenerji and Iranian company on management of energy generation, transmission and distribution TAVANIR.

"The sale & purchase contract was signed by Azerenergy’s president Etibar Pirverdiyev and TAVANIR’s chairman of board A. Kordy. In accord with the contract, starting from this June Azerenerji will import 180 mW of electricity in isolated (island) regime for Mugan and Astara districts.

The deal amount is not specified.
