April 17, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan continues taking measures aimed at improving the environment for small- and medium-sized enterprises.

Azerbaijani Tax Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has stated that the Ministry is working over the amendments to the tax legislation, particularly in the field of reducing the tax burden for small and medium businesses and simplifying tax administration.

"The amendments designed for medium and large businesses say about an increase of transparency of activity, improvement of the quality of internal reporting and compliance with tax legislation," the minister emphasized.

He added that on the one hand, those requirements will increase competitiveness of these entrepreneurs, and on the other hand, will guarantee tax revenues that are directed for financing State Budget current expenditures, providing the creation of social infrastructure.
