Banks with increased operating expenses

November 22, Fineko/abc.az. Out of the 26 banks operating in Azerbaijan, the operating expenses of four ones in the 1st half of this year were lower compared with the same period of 2020.

Banks with operating expenses of over AZN 80 million for Jan-Sept

Loan portfolio of banks in Azerbaijan amounts to AZN 15.957 bn

ABC.AZ reports that among them are Azerbaijan Industrial Bank and AFB Bank, as well as Baku branches of the Iranian and Pakistani national banks. The largest decrease was recorded on the Bank of Pakistan (16%) and the smallest on the Bank of Iran (0.9%).

Operating expenses on the remaining 22 banks increased. The highest dynamics was recorded on Rabitabank OJSC (45.4%) and the lowest on Express Bank OJSC (0.5%).
