April 18, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku Transport Agency (BNA) has become a member of the the International Association of Public Transport (UITP).

BNA reports that membership in the organization will ensure access for the Agency to international experience and will help establish contacts with specialists working in the cities of the world.

UITP is the largest international organization that unites more than 1,400 city and regional companies— transport operators of urban and suburban passenger transport, manufacturers of rolling stock and research organizations from more than 96 countries. The Union participates in development of modern technologies for public transport and provides recommendations for their development and introduction, conducts various research and training programs.
