The 1000th tanker with ACG oil sent from Supsa terminal

November 30, Fineko/abc.az. The 1000th tanker with Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) oil, transported via the Western Export Pipeline (Baku-Supsa), operated by bp, departed from the Supsa terminal located on the Black Sea coast. 

ABC.AZ reports that 650,000 barrels of crude oil extracted from the ACG field and safely transported through the territory of Azerbaijan and Georgia, starting from the Sangachal terminal, were loaded onto the 1000th Stamos tanker bound for Italy. Since the commissioning in 1999, the Baku-Supsa pipeline has transported more than 700 million barrels of oil. The current export volume of the pipeline is 100,000 bpd.
