December 2, Fineco/abc.az. The Cabinet Ministers of Azerbaijan has tasked the relevant governmental bodies to strengthen control over compliance with the rules of the special quarantine regime during the New Year holidays.

One of such bodies is the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AQTA).

ABC.AZ reports that Akper Aliyev, the head of the AQTA Food Chain Control Department, said that since the end of December, orders have been accepted for organizing corporate events, New Year's holidays in catering establishments, restaurants operating at hotels, as well as in the palaces of celebrations.

In view of this, AQTA has strengthened monitoring of the state of compliance with coronavirus preventive measures in the field with the purpose to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection: "The main goal is to check the availability of covid passports for personnel. The situation related to compliance with the density standards approved by Cabinet Ministers’ Resolution #237 and other requirements related to preventive measures will also be studied."
