Oil gets more expensive, and Brent is at $71.57 a barrel

December 3, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are increasing in Friday’s trading.

By 16:20 pm, the price of February’s Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange rose by $1.9 (2.73%) up to $71.57 per barrel.

By 16:20 pm, the price of WTI oil futures for January on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) jumped by $1.78 (2.68%) up to $68.28 per barrel.

On Thursday, OPEC+ decided to continue increasing production in accordance with the previously agreed plan, that is, to increase it by 400,000 b/d in January, up to 38.8 million b/d.
