Azerbaijan to introduce single tariff for power network connection

15:05 - 27.04.2018

April 27, Fineko/abc.az. Azerishig, Azerbaijan’s electric power supply operator, will introduce a single tariff for connection to the power supply network.

Elsever Rustamli, head of Azerishig's Department for Work with ASAN Service, says that the relevant proposals are now under consideration by the Cabinet Ministers.

"The proposals imply introduction of a single tariff for connection to the network, regardless of the distance for each kW consumed. Currently, this tariff is calculated depending on the distance of the power lines," Rustamli said.

He pointed out that reduction of the power connection period from law-envisaged 15 days to 3 days is implied as well.
