February 7, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on the improvement of the management of transport in the administrative territory of Baku.

ABC.AZ informs that the decree is aimed at further measures taken in connection with the organization of traffic in the administrative territory of Baku, improving the quality of services in the field of regular passenger transportation by public vehicles and passenger transportation by taxi cars, as well as improving management in this sphere.

Under the decree, the Baku Transport Agency (BNA) has been transferred to the subordination of the head of Baku City Executive Power with the status of a public legal entity.

In addition, according to the decree, Center for Intelligent Transport Management LLC subordinated to BNA was transferred to the subordination of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
