Wage Fund more than doubled

April 18, Fineko/abc.az. Reforms in the field of wages, the dynamics of the growth in the number of employment contracts led to an increase in the wage fund.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection that for Jan-Mar 2022 the wage fund in Azerbaijan increased by 11.4%.

In general, over the past 3 years there has been an increase in the minimum wage by 2.3 times, the average monthly wage by 40%, and the median wage by 80%.

During this period the annual wage fund grew 2.1 times.
