Shell withdraws its employees from joint projects with Gazprom

April 20, Fineko/abc.az. Oil & gas company Shell (UK) has initiated the withdrawal of its employees from the Russian Federation, in particular those who worked at the company's joint venture with Russian Gazprom.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to Bloomberg that the company has sent dozens of employees to the liquefied gas export project. Now they have been withdrawn and transferred to other departments.

Shell’s statement says that it is gradually withdrawing its employees. Special attention is paid to the safety of employees, compliance with the law.

Shell announced its withdrawal from joint projects with Gazprom on 28 February.
