Non-cash transactions grew 2.3-fold

May 24, Fineko/abc.az. The increase in the number of payment cards in April had positive impact on non-cash payments. Thus, the non-cash transactions within the country increased 2.3-fold against April 2021.

ABC.AZ reports that in April 2022 the non-cash payments by cards amounted to AZN 1.659 bn. AZN 1.27 bn of non-cash payments accounted for e-commerce.

Of the remaining amount, AZN 387 million were realized through POS- terminals.

In April, the non-cash domestic transactions with payment cards made up 41.1% of the total domestic transactions.
