June 7, Fineko/abc.az. “Azerbaijan expressed at a high level that it supports the normalization of Turkish-Armenian relations. We value very positively the appointment of special envoys by Turkiye and Armenia and their three meetings,” said Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in his interview for Anadolu Agency.

“It is a sample of positive messages of Turkiye and Azerbaijan directed to Armenia. Turkiye and Azerbaijan openly say to Armenia that we do not have any problem with Armenia. We are in favor of establishing normal neighborhood relations with Armenia and if Armenia takes relevant steps in accordance with this, shows respect to international law, understands regional realities properly, achieving positive results will be possible in this direction,” the minister noted.

Bayramov added that certain positive signals have begun to arrive from Armenia on the issue of normalization of relations: "We perceive these signals as positive steps. Continuing to move in this direction meets the interests not only of Azerbaijan and Armenia, but also of the region as a whole. Normalization of relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey is most needed by Armenia itself. Because the 30-year course of aggression and occupation of foreign lands has not brought anything good to Armenia – only troubles. Official Yerevan should properly assess the situation and make the necessary results."
