June 7, Fineko/abc.az. From the beginning of this year to 1 June 64,800 tons of food wheat and corn were delivered from Saratov Oblast of Russia to Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary & Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) disseminated information that 147,900 tons of grain and legumes were exported directly from Saratov Oblast, including 99,400 tons of grain processing products. Delivery was carried out to 33 countries.

The export of food wheat to Azerbaijan, saffron to Belgium, Kazakhstan, chickpeas to Iran, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan continues. Grain processing products were supplied to Latvia and Kazakhstan. The largest volume of product supplies accounts for Latvia – 76,700 tons (flour), Azerbaijan – 64,800 tons (food wheat and corn), Kazakhstan – 49,000 tons (saffron, chickpeas, flour), Lithuania – 22,000 tons (sprats and flax seeds).
