June 9, Fineko/abc.az. Upon completion of the process of electronization of work record cards in Azerbaijan, the employers' requirement regarding labor books will be canceled.

ABC.AZ reports that chairman of board of the State Employment Agency Mustafa Abbasbeyli said this at a press conference.

He emphasized that the electronic work record cards is a difficult process.

"By the end of the year it is planned to fully improve the subsystem of labor relations and employment. This does not imply the liquidation of labor books. The work record remains with citizens and may be required when assigning a pension. After the completion of the work on the improvement of the subsystem, the data will also be electronic until 2006. This process can be fully completed by late 2022 or early 2023," Abbasbeyli said.
