Expert: Quarantine for foreigners to be on agenda for monkey pox virus

June 17, Fineko/abc.az. High fever, headache, swelling and weakness are the first signs of this disease. Cases of infection with the smallpox virus of monkeys are already found in neighboring countries.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Health Ministry, this matter in our country is under full control, and preventive measures will be taken in this regard.

Ministry’s expert Laman Galimova said on TV channel Khazar-Khabar that, as in the case of coronavirus, if the disease becomes widespread, the question of quarantine of everyone arriving from abroad may arise.

She added that it is desirable that everyone uses methods of individual protection.
