May 21, Fineko/abc.az. Banks in Azerbaijan are operating in active regime.

Financial Markets Supervision Chamber reports that the banks (23 banks with more than 48 branches) are working in active regime on its recommendation, in connection with the holding of the III Baku Shopping Festival.

"Until 31 May, the end date of the festival, five branches of banks operate around the clock for creation of conditions for currency exchange, while other branches work on Saturdays and Sundays. The branches of 10 more authorized banks provide services on VAT refunding in cash and non-cash form," the Chamber said.

The Chamber has not yet received complaints on banks’ activities in connection with services within the Baku Shopping Festival.
