June 28, Fineko/abc.az. Grain harvesting continues in districts of Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture.

The harvest is currently underway in 61 districts of Azerbaijan.

Barley harvesting is nearing completion in the Aran regions, and mass wheat harvesting has already begun in most districts. To date, a total of 1.36 million tons of products have been collected from the fields. The harvest continues.

1,503 combine harvesters are involved in the harvesting process. 649 combines of local divisions of Agroservice and 854 combines of individuals and legal entities participate in the process of active harvesting. Combine harvesters from units located in the foothill and mountainous areas, where harvesting is not currently underway, were additionally sent to the areas of harvesting operations of Agroservice.
