U.S. imposed sanctions against Russian aircraft manufacturer

June 29, Fineko/abc.az. The United Aircraft Corporation, a Russian manufacturer of MiG and Sukhoi aircraft, has also been added to the US sanctions list.

ABC.AZ reports that also, 45 organizations of the U.S. State Department and 29 people were included in the sanctions list.

The sanctions were imposed because of human rights violations in Ukraine.

As part of the sanctions, the U.S. Department of Foreign Affairs will impose visa restrictions on more than 500 Russian military and officials who allegedly threaten the sovereignty, territorial integrity and political independence of Ukraine.
