Medvedev: Japan to have neither oil nor gas from Russia

July 5, Fineko/abc.az. Japan can expect life without gas and oil from Russia, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Russian Security Council’s deputy chairman Dmitry Medvedev.

"There will be significantly less oil on the market, and its price will be much higher., even above the predicted astronomical price of $300-400. Compare with the dynamics of gas prices. But Japan will have neither oil nor gas from Russia. As well as participation in LNG project Sakhalin-2," Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel on Tuesday.

The Ministry of Finance of Japan has included citizens and companies of Russia and Belarus in the sanctions list.

In addition, official Tokyo has imposed duties on goods exported by 65 Russian and 25 Belarusian companies.
