July 14, Fineko/abc.az. Serbia will be able to buy up to 40% of the required amount of gas not from Russia, but from other suppliers in 2023, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Serbian Deputy PM Zorana Mihajlovic.

"Next year we’ll be able to purchase at least 30-40% of gas from other suppliers, and we’re already negotiating with the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan. Serbia will complete the construction of the Nis-Dimitrovgrad gas pipeline in September 2023, through which gas will be supplied to Serbia from other suppliers, primarily from Azerbaijan and the LNG terminal in Greece," she said.

Mihailovic stressed that currently the state is doing everything to ensure sufficient amount of gas.
