Value of oil drops, and Brent is at $91.75 a barrel

October 5, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are declining in Wednesday’s trading after rising following the previous session.

The price of December’s Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange declined by $0.05 (0.05%) to $91.75 per barrel by 09:09 am. Following the trading on 4 October, those contracts rose by $2.94 (3.31%) to $91.80 per barrel.

The price of November’s futures for WTI crude oil on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:09 am decreased by $0.12 (0.14%) to $86.40 per barrel. Following the trading on 4 October, the value of those contracts grew by $2.89 (3.46%) to $86.52 per barrel.
