Banks did not submit bids for purchase of currency at auction 2nd time in a row

January 26, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has held a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

According to the CBA, banks did not submit applications for the purchase of foreign currency at the currency auction on 26 January.

At the auction on 24 January, banks also did not submit applications for the purchase of currency. At the auction on 19 January 2023, the CBA sold currency for $1.5 million to banks.
