Azerbaijan introduces certification of school teachers

June 21, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan intends to introduce certification in secondary schools.

Education Minister Ceyhun Bayramov has stated that the process of teacher certification will be carried out only in public schools.

"Such a system is important to encourage teachers to work on themselves," the minister said.

He added that the certification process will play an important role in making a number of objective decisions, career growth, incentives, and giving honorary names.
