Education Minister promised to apply effective student credit system from next academic year

February 15, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is likely to introduce effective student loan system from 2019-2020.

Education Minister Ceyhun Bayramov stated that intensive preparatory work has already been carried out to start the application of the new system.

"This is not a simple process as the student loan system should be aimed at the future. So, the appropriate legislative framework and an effective system should be created," the minister said.

He pointed out that a special workgroup is working with representatives of the relevant governmental agencies for creation of an effective student credit system to be applied from the 2019-2020 academic year.
