August 15, Fineko/abc.az. A seminar on the expansion and improvement of non-cash payment services has been conducted at the Financial Market Supervision Authority together with international card organization Visa Inc. The seminar participants discussed the possibility of non-cash payments via mobile phones without the help of POS-terminals.

The event is dedicated to the tokenization service to be used by Visa Inc. in the country for the first time and will play an important role in the development of non-cash payments, as well as in the application of innovative payment solutions.

The participants covered the matters of tokenization services and its advantages, the possibility of non-cash payments via cell phones without POS-terminals in economic entities. This FIMSA-supported project will play a significant role in the formation of the non-cash society of Azerbaijan and implementation of non-cash payments, along with payment cards, other means, as a result of innovations in non-cash payments.
