Telman Aliyev elected new Chairman of Caspian European Club

March 4, Fineko/abc.az.  Election of the board members of the Caspian European Club has ended. According to the results of the election, Telman Aliyev, who is also the Group CEO of the Caspian European Club and Caspian Energy for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Kazakhstan, was elected the new Chairman of the Caspian European Club. The press service of the Caspian European Club reported this. 

Zarifa Hamzayeva (President of Gazelli Group), Avni Demirchi (Chairman of the Board of ZiraatBank Azerbaijan), Farid Mammadov (General Director of Caspian Event Organisers LLC), Nariman Mammadov (General Director of Transbroker/Narimanfilm), Rashad Abbasov (Director of ASE Express & OCS) and Savash Uzan (member of the board of Azersun Holding) have been elected the members of the board of the Caspian European Club for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Kazakhstan, 6 of which are elected by secret ballot voting.

The election, held from February 27 to 29, 2020, was preceded by the pre-election voting (primaries) on the official website of the Caspian European Club www.caspianenergy.org. 194 top managers and representatives of the Caspian European Club member companies, which have offices in Baku, enjoyed the right of voting.  Besides, elected at the election were also heads of sectoral, intersectoral committees and working groups. Their names will be fully confirmed at the first meeting of the new staff of the board of the Caspian European Club. A new development strategy of the Club will also be set at this meeting, which shall be implemented in coming two years. The members of the board shall also approve a new staff of the Executive Committee of the Caspian European Club.

Bringing together over 5,000 companies and organizations from 50 countries, the Caspian European Club was established in June 2002. The head office of the Caspian European Club is in Baku (Azerbaijan). The Caspian European Club has official representative offices in Georgia and Kazakhstan, and also authorized representatives in the USA, Germany, Poland, Czechia, Uzbekistan and Latvia.
