Central Bank of Turkey kept interest rate –lira strengthened after decision

May 6, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Turkey has announced the interest rate at today's meeting.

ABC.AZ reports that the forecasts made some time ago proved to be correct.

Thus, the structure kept the interest rate unchanged at 19%.

After the decision, the dollar/TL rate fell (the lira strengthened) to 8.28.
