Exploration work begins on 2 fields in Nakhchivan

June 21, Fineko/abc.az. AzerGold has launched active geological exploration work at Geydag ore deposit located in the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, ABC.AZ reports with reference to AzerGold.

Since this June AzerGold’s geologists have started drilling at the Ortakend-Khanaga gold and Ortakend copper deposits.

According to the approved plan, at the initial stage, it is planned to drill 31 wells with total depth of 5,000 m at the Ortaken-Khanaga gold field and 13 wells with total depth of 3,000 m at the Ortakend copper-porphyry field. In parallel, the laboratory will analyze the samples taken.
