Uber's profit exceeds $1 bn

August 5, Fineko/abc.az. American company Uber, one of the largest online delivery and taxi services, transported 1.5 billion passengers in the 2nd quarter of 2021.

ABC.AZ reports that during this period the total volume of Uber’s orders for taxi, courier, food delivery, cargo transportation, bicycle and motorcycle rental services amounted to $21.9 bn (114% more against Q2 of 2020).

$8.6 bn of orders accounted for taxi and passenger transportation and $12.9 bn for delivery services.

Uber's income between April and June reached $3.9 bn (105%) net profit - $1.14 bn.

The company finished the 2nd quarter of 2020 with loss of $1.77 bn.
