Azerbaijan imposes a ban on import of live poultry from this country

September 27, Fineko/abc.az. According to the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza have been recorded in the Indian states of Jammu-Kashmir and Haryana.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AQTA) that temporary restrictions on the import of all types of live poultry, poultry meat and breeding eggs have been imposed in order to protect the territory of Azerbaijan from infectious animal diseases that can be transmitted to other countries.
