December 7, Fineko/abc.az. Transport vehicles passing through the Gubadli customs post, built on the Gorus-Gafan road, are subject to customs duty in accordance with the Law on State Duty and articles of the Tax Code.

These taxes are collected and transferred to the State Budget.

ABC.AZ reports that first deputy chairman of the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant General of the Customs Service Ismayil Huseynov, said this in an interview for Baku TV.

He noted that millions of sums have already been collected and transferred to the State Budget.

"The order on the establishment of a checkpoint on the Gorus-Gafan road, on a section of the highway near Eyvazli village of Gubadli district, liberated from occupation, was signed by the SCC chairman on 10 September. As part of the execution of the document, logistical support measures were carried out in order to start the activities of the checkpoint. Vehicles passing through the checkpoint are subject to customs duty and road tax in accord with the Law on State Duty," he said.
