December 7, Fineko/abc.az. Today, the issue of increasing customs duties on cars in the country is not on the agenda.

ABC.AZ informs that State Customs Committee’s first deputy chairman Ismail Huseynov stated about this in an interview for Baku TV.

He noted that at the same time, the excise tax rates on passenger cars imported into the country will be increased from 1 January 2022 on certain categories of motor vehicles.

"The draft law on the Tax Code is expected to come into force on 1 January next year. In this case, the excise tax rates for cars with an engine displacement of more than 3,000 cm3 and with a factory release date of more than 3 years will be changed," Huseynov said.
