February 8, Fineko/abc.az. Several banks operating in Azerbaijan have lowered their liabilities compared with 2021. However, there are also banks whose liabilities are increasing.

ABC.AZ informs that the liabilities of five out of the 26 banks operating in the country exceeded AZN 1 bn as of 1 January 2022.

Among them are the International Bank of Azerbaijan (AZN 10.46 bn), Kapital Bank (AZN 6.6 bn), PASHA Bank (AZN 5.83 bn), Xalq Bank (AZN 1.89 bn) and Bank Respublika (AZN 1.13 bn).

The liabilities of 18 banks of the remaining 21 banks amount from AZN 100 million to AZN 1 billion, in 2 banks - from AZN 10 million up to 100 million, in 1 bank - less than AZN 10 million.
