Economy minister predicts a sharp rise of EU-Azerbaijan trade turnover

May 17, Fineko/abc.az. The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and the EU will be a record this year, ABC.AZ quotes our country's Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov at today’s Azerbaijan-EU Business Forum.

Jabbarov emphasized that over the past 10 years EU countries’ direct investments into the Azerbaijani economy amounted to 20 bn euro.

"About 700 companies from the EU are currently operating in Azerbaijan," he said.
