Russia has imposed sanctions on 39 Australian citizens

July 22, Fineko/abc.az. Moscow, in response to the Canberra sanctions, additionally adds 39 representatives of the security agencies, the border service and contractors of the Australian defense sector to the national stop list, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry.

"In response to the earlier decision of official Canberra to impose sanctions on the Australian equivalent of the Magnitsky Act, the Russian Federation, on the basis of reciprocity, additionally adds 39 people from among representatives of law enforcement agencies, the border service, as well as contractors of the Australian defense sector to the national stop list," the Ministry’s statement says.
