August 1, Fineko/abc.az. The Turkish Ministry of National Defense reports that this morning the first ship loaded with corn under a grain transportation contract will depart from the port of Odessa.

ABC.AZ reports that as a result of the meetings of National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar with ministers and interested parties and the intensive work of the Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul, the first grain ship departed from the port of Odessa.

Following this, the first vessel to carry out transportation within the agreement signed between Turkey, the Russian Federation, Ukraine and the UN on 22 July 2022, it is planned sailing of other vessels within the established corridors and procedures.
