August 3, Fineko/abc.az. The General Customs Administration of China announced on Wednesday that the import of certain types of fish and fruits has been suspended.

In particular, China declared the suspension of imports of citrus fruits and two types of fish from the island in a decision that could be interpreted as economic sanctions after the visit to Taiwan by Nancy Pelosi, the chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives, ABC.AZ with reference to the foreign media.

It was stated that the decision to ban was made in accordance with the relevant food safety rules and conditions, and the notification of the decision requires all customs units to suspend receipt of import notifications.
