A plant with total cost of AZN 13.7 million to be built in Pirallakhi

August 5, Fineko/abc.az. An investment agreement on the construction of a plant for production of infusion solutions (water-containing preparations) has been signed between Azerbaijan Investment Company (AIC) and Diamed Development Group LLC, ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Economy.

The production of mainly sodium chloride (0.9%), Ringer lacta and glucose (5%) is planned within the project. Taking into account the economic efficiency and profitability of the project, as well as the reduction of dependence on imports and support for local production, a decision was made to provide financial support for AIC in the construction of the plant.

AIC’s share in the project with total cost of AZN 13.7 million is 20%.

Creation of up to 100 new jobs is planned at the Pirallahi-located enterprise with annual production capacity of 20 million units.
