European Central Bank buys weak Euro Zone government bonds

August 9, Fineko/ The European Central Bank (ECB) buys government bonds worth millions of euros from the most vulnerable countries of the eurozone. Thus, the Bank plans to support them during the period of economic instability.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that in June and July the Central Bank invested 17 bn euro in the government bond market of Spain, Italy and Greece.

The measure adopted by the CBA helps curb the gap between the economies of the eurozone countries.
