Cost of sold goods of private sector announced

August 10, Fineko/abc.az. For the past 7 months of 2022, 51.4% of finances spent by buyers on goods purchased for final consumption were foods, 4.8% – beverages and tobacco products, 12.8% – textiles, clothing and footwear, 5.7% – gasoline and diesel fuel, 4.9% – electrical goods and furniture, 2.4% – pharmaceutical products and medical supplies, 1.1% – computers, telecommunications equipment and printed products, 16.9% - on purchase of other non-food products.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the cost of goods sold by private sector business entities for Jan-Jul increased in real terms by 2.9% (versus Jan-Jul 2021; 99.7% of total retail turnover).

Compared with Jan-Jul 2021, retail trade turnover in real terms increased by 3.8% for enterprises, by 0.5% for individual entrepreneurs and by 6.9% for markets and fairs. A resident of the country on average bought foods for 379.8 manats a month in the retail trade network, including beverages and tobacco products for 213.5 manats, and non-foods for 166.3 manats.
