Share of non-oil sector in budget revenues up to 52.5%

August 15, Fineko/abc.az. In the first half of this year, state budget revenues were executed at 14,205.5 million manats, which is 107.4% of budget revenues provided for the corresponding period, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the semi-annual data of the Accounts Chamber on the execution of the state budget for 2022.

The amount of executed income for the reporting period is 20.8% more than the corresponding indicator of the previous year.

Through the State Tax Service and the State Customs Committee, the ratio of revenues to non-oil GDP increased by 21.7% compared to the corresponding period last year.

During the reporting period, budget revenues increased by 7.4% compared to the forecast and by 20.8% compared to the corresponding period last year. The growth in revenues from the State Tax Service and the State Customs Committee enabled the State Oil Fund to save funds.
The transfers from the State Oil Fund were made with a deficit of 1,712 million manats, which had a restraining effect on a significant increase in budget revenues compared to the forecast, achieved through the line of the State Tax Service.
Nonoil revenues accounted for 7,456.7 million manats and oil revenues were responsible for 6,748.8 million manats. The faster growth of non-oil revenues compared to the same period last year is due to the increase in the share of the non-oil sector in budget revenues to 52.5%.
