Banks with declining operating income

August 16, Fineko/abc.az. The operating income of five out of 26 banks functioning in Azerbaijan in the first half of this year was lower than in the same period last year.

According to ABC.AZ, these are the following banks: OJSC Premium Bank, Gunay Bank and Azerbaijan Industrial Bank, Baku branches of the national banks of Iran and Pakistan.

The largest decline was recorded in the Pakistani bank (28.5%), and the lowest was in Premum Bank (0.2%).
The remaining 21 banks saw their operating income increase. The highest dynamics was recorded in Bank VTB Azerbaijan OJSC (86.6%), and the lowest was in Bank BTB OJSC (4.1%).
