August 18, Fineko/abc.az. For six months of this year, the average monthly nominal wage of employees in the country's economy increased by 14.2% compared to the corresponding period in 2021 and amounted to 827.1 manats.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that wages amounted to 3,535.3 manats in the oil and gas sector, 775.3 manats in the non-oil and gas sector. The wages of employees of state enterprises amounted to 774.9 manats, and the wages at private enterprises made up 886.9 manats. In the mining industry, financial and insurance activities, professional, scientific and technical activities, as well as in the field of information and communications, the average monthly nominal wage was higher than the national average.
