September 2, Fineko/abc.az. The State Employment Agency has summed up the results of the tender procedure for the "purchase of office space for rent".

ABC.AZ reports that MACAZ Construction LLC, which carries out the construction of Era Tower residential buildings in Baku, has become the tender winner. However, there have been complaints about this company before.

So, in July of this year, buyers of apartments in Era Tower buildings claimed that the Era Tower residential building, the construction of which began in 2013, has not yet been commissioned. The construction of the aforementioned 22-storey building has been frozen for 3 years. As a reason, residents were informed that the money allocated for the construction of the building had been spent. For this reason, about 50 buyers still could not move to a new home.

The residents also stated that the actual owner of MACAZ Construction LLC is Akim Badalov, the former chairman of the State Company for Alternative & Renewable Energy Sources. It should be noted that in connection with the tender, the State Employment Agency signed a contract with MACAZ Construction LLC in the amount of AZN 743,853.
