12 families more sent to Zangilan

September 7, Fineko/abc.az. Today, the second stage of the resettlement of the population to Agali village of Zangilan district has started.

ABC.AZ reports that the next group of 12 families (63 people) was sent from the populated locality in Masazir settlement of Absheron district and called the Zangilan town to their native lands.

Another 13 families (62 people) will be relocated to Agali village on 10 September.

Among the resettled are residents of the First, Second and Third Agali.

Under the current legislation, IDPs will be able to take advantage of social protection measures established for them by the state within three years after returning to their permanent place of residence. The resettlement of the population to Agali village is the first steps of the Great Return. Before the occupation, this administrative territory united three villages. At that time, 40 families (154 people) lived in the First Agali, 60 families (245 people) lived in the Second Agali, and 161 families (675 people) lived in the Third Agali. Currently, the total number of families from these villages is 352 (1,504 people).
