September 12, Fineko/abc.az. Group of companies Veyseloglu has published price index for August 2022 on output that is in the greatest demand of buyers in its markets.

ABC.AZ reports that the index for the last 24 months made up 113.5%, which indicates change in the overall level of prices for products most often purchased by customers of the Group of Companies. As a result, an average price increase of 13.5% was observed during this period.

According to the Veysaloglu Retail Trade Index, as of August 2022, prices for goods that are most often bought by the company's customers increased by 19.7% against last August. Thus, compared with August 2021, there was an increase in prices for perishable food by 20.8%, an increase in prices for dry, frozen food, sweets and soft drinks by 21.1%, an increase in prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products by 8.2%.
