Nine EU states don’t accept tourist visas from Russians

September 14, Fineko/abc.az. Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Denmark, Belgium and the Netherlands no longer accept documents for issuing tourist visas from Russian citizens, ABC.AZ informs referring to the website of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).

According to EU’s decision, the visa facilitation agreement with the Russian Federation has been suspended since 12 September. Now Russians will receive Schengen visas in accord with the general conditions of the EU Visa Code.

And this means a longer period, more expensive consular fees and more documents.
