An amphibious ship under construction in Turkey

September 19, Fineko/abc.az. TCG Anadolu, built as part of the largest defense industry project in the history of Turkey, the Universal Landing Ship (LHD), has been presented to the public.

ABC.AZ reports that at the moment, the construction of the ship continues, and the universal landing ship will be handed over to the Turkish Navy at the end of this year.

The capabilities of the ship are so high that, according to analysts, TCG Anadolu will be able to bring to a high level not only the Turkish naval forces, but also Turkey's position in diplomacy.

The construction of the ship, work over which began in 2015, will be completed by the end of 2022.
